Our successful rate is as high as in USA, Canada and Western Europe. The one year survival rate was 96%, the 5 years survival rate was 91% and the 10 years survival rate was 67%
Praram 9 Hospital also has many special outstanding features of medical services: We have performed difficult and complicated cases in Kidney Transplantation such as Kidney Transplantation in Marginal Cadaveric Donor, Kidney Transplantation in High Risk Recipient, Retransplantation Surgery in previously failed Kidney Transplantation. We have done 48 cases of Marginal Cadaveric Kidney Surgery, 48 cases of transplantation in High Risk patient. We performed 12 cases of Re-transplantation, out of 12 cases 1 case had Kidney Transplantation for 3 times and presently he is still doing well.
We are proud that we are fully equipped with competent team of Physician, Nursing staff, Medical technicians from specialized field to support and back up our Kidney Transplantation service. Our laboratory facility operates 24 hours a day does blood test for kidney function and most importantly we do Immunosuppressive Drugs monitoring which used in Kidney Transplantation Patients (e.g. Cyclosporin A, FK 506, Certican, Rapamune blood level) 24 hours a day, this makes our laboratory facility is only very few other hospital in the world have. We frequently give this laboratory facility for other hospital all over the country.
Our hospital frequently, received referral cases of complicated, infected and rejected cases of kidney transplantation from other hospital all over Thailand and nearby countries. As we have very strong vascular surgical team, we always received patients from other hospitals and other renal centers to perform vascular access for Hemodialysis. These included revision, re-construction of complicated and difficult vascular access.
We are proudly to say that 4 female patients who received kidney transplantation from Praram 9 Hospital were happily married and successfully had 5 normal and healthy children. It is well known fact that women with kidney disease are usually difficult to get pregnant.
Our Renal Center frequently received patient from overseas e.g. Japan, Taiwan, France, USA, Germany, Italy who come for Hemodialysis treatment during their business and touring trips to Thailand. We also earned confidence from overseas patients who received kidney transplantation at Praram 9 Hospital from other country such as USA, Switzerland, Italy, Japan, Oman, Vietnam, Burma, Cambodia and Singapore.
As an outstanding Renal Center, Praram 9 Hospital was always visited by team of Physician and Nurses from all over the country, in addition we are also a training unit for Renal Physicians and Renal Nurses, some hospitals had built renal unit by using our Renal Center as a model.
