Praram 9 Hospital established the Vaccination and Travel Medicine Center to cater towards travelers of all ages who are looking for consultation and counselling before and after travelling, preventative measures for communicable and travel-related diseases, as well as immunization and vaccination certificates. Our team of medical experts also provide advice on disease prevention and lifestyle measures to ensure that you can have a smooth journey free of illness.
Associate Professor Dr. Siriorn Watcharananan, an infectious disease specialist noted a rise in public awareness on disease prevention and healthcare ownership during the COVID-19 pandemic. At Praram 9 Hospital, we understand the pivotal role of vaccines in helping boost immunity, preventing disease severity and most importantly, the spread of diseases. Vaccination should be given to patients of all ages, not only in the very young, or elderly. Further, other risk factors for disease development and severity include pre-existing medical conditions, certain occupations and lifestyle related factors, which highlights the importance of vaccinations for these at risk group patients.
